Festival on the Field
Sat 9th July 2022
We book the very best tribute acts and over the years, festival goers have danced and sung along to tributes of Queen, Madness, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Katy Perry, One Direction, Taylor Swift and many more….
In 2018 we introduced the Karaoke phenomenon Massaoke who, now much in demand, have agreed to come back and headline the show for us again this year.
Back by (very) popular demand!
Massaoke is the live band singalong clubbing sensation that’s sweeping the UK, from the Glastonbury Festival to the Edinburgh fringe.
An amazing live band plays the greatest pop, rock and indie anthems of all time and the crowd sings along, guided by big screen lyrics. This year we’ve booked an even bigger screen – going with the huge 18m size!
There’s no dreaded karaoke spotlight here – this is ‘massaoke’, where everybody sings and dances their hearts out together in a unique live gig atmosphere. The result is a euphoric celebration of some of the best songs ever written.

Back by popular demand, the country’s top rated Madness Tribute Act, took the Festival by storm in 2016. One Step Behind has played all over the country including at the Proms in the Park.
Madness themselves highly rate the band and one of Madness’ members has even performed with them.
One Step Behind always produce a high energy, fun performance with great crowd interaction. Go crazy with the Nutty Boys!
Also new to the Festival this year, The Up and Overs have been together in various guises for over 25 years, having met playing rugby at Harpenden. They play an eclectic mix of covers from the last 6 decades.
Opening the Festival this year is Stratton 5, an exciting and talented young up and coming indie rock band.
All teenagers they have released 6 quality singles so far and will play these and a selection of covers in their first appearance at the Festival
