Festival on the field are excited to announce that Massaoke will return once again to get Harpenden dancing and singing rock anthems out loud as our headline act.
Massaoke is the original, crowd-powered live band sing-along experience. An incredible live band play the greatest hairbrush anthems of all time, along with giant screens of video lyrics – so everyone can join in together. They have been rocking audiences around the world, from legendary festivals like Glastonbury, Latitude, Leeds to famous sports events like Formula 1, the Rugby World Cup and UEFA Football.
With rock star poses, sparkling costumes, infinite air-guitar and an electric atmosphere, Massaoke is a show like no other – euphoric, immersive and, Too. Much. Fun.

Back for a second time to the Harpenden Festival on the Field, Totally Taylor by Melissa will thrill the Swifties of Harpenden with Taylor’s greatest hits and top tracks from the new album.
Melissa has the look, voice and energy of Taylor Swift having studied her for over a decade. Come get up close to the stage and dance to your favourite Taylor tunes right here in Harpenden!


Red Shift are a four-piece indie rock and pop band from Hertfordshire, UK, and formed in 2025. Their distinctive style captures the best of indie rock, alternative rock and pop, marked by memorable melodies, rich guitar textures, and emotionally resonant songwriting with a modern edge.
The band includes former members of Festival on the Field stalwarts Stratton 5 including some Sir John Lawes School Alumni.
Their debut single ‘Time By The Ocean’ has been featured by Kerrie Cosh on BBC 3CR through BBC Introducing and their Debut EP ‘Heartbreak And Goodbyes’ is out now!

Run For Cover are a Hertfordshire-based rock and pop covers band that turns every gig into a greatest hits playlist. From indie anthems to classic floor-fillers, their high-energy sets are packed with crowd-pleasers designed to get everyone singing, dancing, and shouting for more. Whether it’s a private party, pub night or wedding reception, they bring the soundtrack to your best memories and make new ones in the process.
With sharp musicianship, tight harmonies and a love of the songs everyone actually wants to hear, Run For Cover deliver live music that’s fun, familiar and full of life. Expect tunes from the likes of The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Rolling Stones and more - all performed with the energy and edge of a band who love what they do.

The festival will kick off with three bands from local secondary schools.
New this year, bands will be chosen at a Battle of the Bands Event held at the Katherine Warrington School Auditorium from 6pm-8pm on 19 Mar 2025. Tickets for that event will be available closer to the date.
